Who Will Treat Me?
At our offices you could be seen by a medical doctor, FNP or a PA. FNPs, or family nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have completed
specific advanced levels of nursing education (generally a masters degree) and training in the diagnosis and management of common and complex
medical conditions.

Nurse Practitioners provide a broad range of health care services and treat both acute and chronic conditions through comprehensive history taking, physical exams, physical therapy, ordering tests, and therapies for patients within their scope of practice. An NP can serve as a patient's point-of-entry health care provider and see patients of all ages. The core philosophy of the field is individualized care. Nurse Practitioners focus on patient's conditions as well as the effects of illness on the lives of the patients and their families.

Physicians Assistants, or PAs, are advanced clinicians licensed to practice medicine with the supervision of a licensed physician. PAs are not to be confused with medical assistants who perform administrative and clinical tasks in hospitals and clinics under the direct supervision of physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, or PAs. We find PAs are great for family and general medicine related needs.
